On September 11th, 2007, Hollywood Records will release the third volume in the ongoing soundtrack collection of the hit ABC TV series Grey's Anatomy.
The first single from the third volume of songs featured in the show will be "Breathe In Breathe Out," by Mat Kearney. The video for the song will feature footage from the show and be available as a free download on iTunes beginning September 20th, just seven days before the new season of Grey's Anatomy premieres on September 27th, 9/8c on ABC.
As with the previous two volumes, the album's tracks were chosen by the show's creator and executive producer, Shonda Rhimes and executive producer Betsy Beers from a large pool of artists introduced to them by music supervisor Alex Patsavas.
There will be a special version of Grey's Anatomy Soundtrack Volume 3 available via iTunes that will include two bonus tracks in the form of Patrick Watson's "The Great Escape" and Black Cat John Brown's "Alamo Race Track."
For show diehards/completists, there will also be a boxed set containing all three volumes packaged together. It will also be released on September 11th.
